Black Ops 6 players believe one of the most popular guns in the game is making the meta “boring” as they’re desperate for change. 

The start of Black Ops 6 Season 3 might be on the horizon, but that hasn’t stopped players from ramping up complaints about the game’s meta. 

Those complaints have come on both the Warzone and multiplayer sides of things. With Warzone, players have complained about matches feeling stale. As Verdansk’s return is around the corner, they want more variety.

The complaints are similar on the multiplayer side. However, it isn’t the SMG category as a whole that is annoying players, but rather just one – the Jackal PDW.

One player, Redditor entg1, complained that some fans spend their days dreaming about usual the Jackal. That joke quickly turned into a serious point from others who agreed. 

“Every SnD game is just jackals and AMES. People are so boring now,” one said. “0 weapon variety using mfs,” another added.

“It’s just jackals and KSVs all over the place. The KSV is even better than the jackal though in terms of TTK but the jackal has better movement speed if you build it right,” another commented. “If not that (the Jackal), then it’s the PPSH,” added another player.

Some argued that the Jackal isn’t the only weapon that can “delete” players in an instant, but rather, the whole SMG category can. 

“It’s a 4 shot kill with very good range and pretty much no recoil, has great handling, and outclasses pretty much every other SMG in the game,” another annoyed player clapped back.

As noted, Season 3 is around the corner and there should be some big changes with another round of buffs and nerfs. The Jackal has been so dominant in both multiplayer and Warzone that it seems very likely it’ll be nerfed in some way.
